My story on having Endometriosis

I was born in 1975 during a turbulent era. At age two, my mother left, leaving my father struggling with mental health issues. This period has marked a challenging start, as I haven’t received the best care.

‘FEMINISM’: THAT WORD THAT CAUSES A STIR

Art has always played a significant role in my life, closely intertwined with my strong belief in feminism. My mother, an art teacher, used to regale me with stories of her involvement in spirited marches and rallies for women’s rights. One humorous memory stands out: she went braless proudly – a source of laughter for my sister and me in our childhood.

Is capitalism the reason?

Profound challenges have marked my life from the very beginning. Abandoned by my birth mother at two and left without the support of my alcoholic father, growing up in the UK presented anything but an ordinary childhood. This situation instilled a complex mix of values that clashed with societal expectations, particularly regarding sex and family.

Exploration of AI tools.

As an artist still on the journey to professionalism, I find AI a valuable tool, particularly in its ability to assist artists with time constraints. It’s a relief to think that AI can be used for more than just boring tasks, like keeping the streets clean and helping the environment. Instead, it can be a boon for the more interesting aspects of life, such as Art and Writing!
